Part IV: New Technologies or Reminiscences of the Future | <<<

Nowadays old movies seem to be too slow. This video is a reaction to
a pervasive sense of acceleration characteristic of modern life. The title
of the film "Bad Movie" poses the question: what would happen
if the speed of the film were to accelerate to the limits of perception,
where the eye stops differentiating images and only blinking lines remain.
Here there is also a hint of self-irony when one remembers that the film
industry often considers video art to be simply a "bad movie".
