Each performance of the New Stupids is an aphoristic utterance about how everything is really made. The notion that in the humble urban lunatic there is always a touch of the sacred madman, suggests a strategy which the artists make use of to address significant topics employing modest means. On first viewing it may appear to some that this video is a critique of gender roles, when in fact it functions as an ironic warning not to depend on stereotypes.
